Star Moving began in Nelson in 1985. It was built on the passion of Stuart Biggs (more on him in the individual profiles further down) and quickly established itself as the premier moving company within the region.

Been in the moving industry since 1980 and self employed since 1985. Stuart's covered all aspects of the industry from trainee packer to Interisland line haul driver, and all aspects of administration and management.

He has a unique love and passion for this business and is, as he describes it, a perfectionist that genuinely cares. When not at Star Moving overseeing the daily operations Stuart can be found on the motocross track and with his much loved family.
